As a shy four-year-old, my parents were determined to bring me out of my shell. They enrolled me in the only somewhat-local singing, acting, and dance classes in the area, hoping one would stick. Luckily, acting did. As a determined Capricorn, ambition is second nature to me and it didn't take me long to realise this is what I wanted.  After a while, I knew what I wanted and was determined to make it happen. If your dreams too, extend beyond the limits of your hometown, then I feel you! Just know, if I could do it, so can you.

At the age of 15, I signed with my first agent, started with commercials, background work, and the occasional line here and there. As a high-school student, nothing brought me more joy than being on set, even if it meant coercing my mum into a nearly two-hour drive at 3am!  Following that, I auditioned for drama school, got in, and spent the next three years immersed in intensive training and performances at one of the country's premier drama schools.
